Lesson 3 –A : what is function
?
As we said before Functions
is Excel's preset formulas, and we should start it with equal sign.
To got to functions window go to ‘formulas’ tab
then chose ’ insert function ‘ button
We can say that Functions is the backbone of excel , without Functions
Excel would be an ordinary table
As we can see after we choose
‘insert function ‘we will get this window , we notice that it contains :
Search box : to search for
function you need.
Drop down list : to categorize
functions by functionality.
List of function with name .
