Lesson 8 :Auto fill ;

It allows you to quickly fill data , we can use it to repeat date in one cell to another cell(s) Or  we can to quickly fill data in a series

The Figure below  illustrate what will happen when you write number ‘1’ in cell ‘a1’ and click and drag The black cross on the bottom right corner of that cell to cell ‘a7’ . We will find the the value ‘1’ repeated in from cell A1 to A7 .

For example we can use Auto fill to fill series like months, days of the week, or a numeric series or You can teach Excel to Auto fill other text series

Excel knows how to Autofill months (January or Jan) and days of the week (Monday or Mon).If we write “Jan” in cell a1 and click and drag to cell a12 Excel   

You can teach Excel to Auto fill other text series. First, click on the Office Button and choose “Excel Options” in the lower right corner of the menu. In the “Popular” category (the one that appears automatically), click on “Edit Custom Lists...”
