Lesson 14 : Excel Conditional formatting (Top/bottom rules) :

We are back again to conditional formatting process , the second lesson will be :


Top/bottom rules : the same as the first lesson highlights cells , select the cells you want to format with rule , then  select the rule you want to apply :


Top 10 items : which highlights top 10 values in the selected cells we can use this rule to know top 10 students in school or  top 10 product sold ...etc , you can change it to be more than ten or less than 10  by changing the number  in the box on the left  .

Top 10 % : the same as previous rule but changing the top 10 by percent 

 Bottom 10 items  & Bottom 10 %  the same as top ten but they select the lowest values 


Above Average    this calculates average in selected cells and select the values that is greater than the average value of selected cells


Below Average   this calculates average in selected cells and select the values that is less than the average value of selected cells
